KASUMBALESA ON FIRE: A HISTORIC HARVEST IN THE HEART OF THE CONGO
What we witnessed in Kasumbalesa, Congo, marked a historic moment for the city and the nation. This was the first evangelistic crusade ever held in Kasumbalesa, and from the very first night it was clear that God was doing something extraordinary.
The opening night was filled with expectation. The field was packed with people hungry for God, listening attentively as the message of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and His victorious resurrection was preached. When the invitation was given, a great multitude raised their hands to surrender their lives to Christ. It became evident that this crusade would be a powerful harvest of souls and miracles.
After praying for salvation, we prayed for the sick and the oppressed. Many testified immediately that they had been healed. 
One deeply moving testimony came from Mrs. Umba, who had been unable to open or move her hand for 10 years. Right there, Jesus healed her and fully restored her hand.
What impressed us most throughout the crusade was the spiritual hunger of the people, especially the youth. The majority of the crowd was young people thirsting for God. So many attended that even the trees were filled with people trying to see the platform. Kasumbalesa was truly hungry for the Gospel.
On day two, the crowd grew — and so did the miracles. God was clearly doing something special in this city, and each night the atmosphere became stronger. The third night was unforgettable. The crowd increased again, heaven came down, and thousands surrendered their lives to Jesus.
One extraordinary moment stood out: a man came to challenge the crusade, but instead encountered the power of the living God. Publicly, he was healed, delivered, and gave his life to Christ on the platform in front of everyone. At the end of the night, a barrel filled with witchcraft objects was burned, declaring that Jesus is Lord.
The fourth night marked a powerful spiritual breakthrough. The message of the new birth was preached, thousands responded in faith, and a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit filled the field. People began speaking in tongues, dancing in the Spirit, and celebrating with great joy. It was a collective baptism of glory. We sensed that this night marked a spiritual turning point for the city.
Miracles confirmed the Gospel and testified to the power of Jesus:
👉 A man who had been deaf for 15 years began to hear again.
✨ A woman was visited by Jesus in a dream and received her healing.
💥 A woman had a large cyst in her abdomen, so big it appeared she was pregnant — the cyst disappeared instantly.
🕊️ Many were delivered from demonic oppression, including witchcraft, and publicly surrendered their lives to Jesus.
🔥 Thousands were saved, healed, delivered, and filled with the Holy Spirit.
Kasumbalesa was deeply impacted by the power of the Gospel. What began as the first crusade in the city has become a spiritual milestone for the entire region, and we believe the fruit will continue to grow for years to come.
